Blogger
(Disclaimer: As always, this entry is solely based on the imagination, thoughts and reflection of the writer. It bears no relations, or is nor an advertisement campaign by Blogger, Blogspot, or any of the rival online Journals.)

I'm going to be really honest tonight. Not that I have been dishonest previously, but this time, diplomacy evaporated when I was recovering from my inflammed throat.

Antibiotics.

Blogging had been an integral part of the lives for many, even if it was for a couple of months. It was for a moment, like a log book of many people rambling on about how their day went, what they did, the silliest thing that happened etc.

It also was a place for some people to write and publish how popular they are, well-liked, etc etc.

Although I appreciate some, which I was in the 'exclusive' readership, where they shared beyond the happenings of the day, they reasons why some things happen, and their deepest reflections on it.

Yes, with although, comes a grand opposite of reading some 18-19 year old telling the world how the cutest guy in her college asking her out, how she dressed for the date, and of course, how elated to be out with lallalala.

Good Grief.

The interesting part about Blogging is that we all see a common trait in each and everyone that blogs, including me. It is more than showing our darker sides, meaner beings, and great insecurities, but simply a need to relate, one human to another.

This place gives us an avenue to air out things that are in our minds and hearts, without the fear of you interrupting in the middle of the conversation, or digressing.

Its more than that, but a mere fact that many people do not dare say things into faces of others. The fear of being laughed at, I mean, we live in a very 'faced-based' society, don't we? It is also a recognition of the need of affirmation, and the world's (hey.. its the WORLD-wide web isn't it?) the limit.

Well, if you're not convinced, how else can you explain the craze of Friendster?

Hmmm... so, what's next?
