This is how it works... Every cartoon we watch brings us back to a place where our inner child comes out. The innocence of us as children, and the inner desire burns to want everything straightening out to a simple, 'and we lived happily ever after..'

The minute the cartoon ends, our fantasy of a never-ending smile and joy seemed to have evaporated with much of fall back into reality, with a loud thud. Reality seems to be pretty much the opposite of what we just saw.

Indeed, when you read what I have to write, not help but agree with how miserable life can get, grouse about how terrible things can go for us, how we are not allowed to certain things because of circumstances.

In all these, we seem to have lost sight of anything good that has happened in our lives. The people that came into it and tried encouraging us, spurring us on in our long journey of life. In bringing to mind constantly the negative experiences, we have put our eyes so much down, that anything that rises above these horror, is not seen.

Often, watching cartoon reliefs us from this pain within, and lightens us up, reconciling our inner desire, with what our physical eyes see.

In these times of uncertainty and skeptism, we really end up worrying about the actions of someone else. Always, and unfortunately, ringing in our minds is the wonder of the (ulterior) motive of the person who offers you some help, some relieve from your stress, pain and frustation.

Even when offered you to share a table with during a crowded lunchtime situation, you offer a weary 'thank you', and sit looking away from the person.

There are people out there who really cares, yet exploited. Sincerely give, yet take-advantage of. And interestingly, willing to go an extra-mile for you, to put that smile on your face, yet people are scared of their warm, sincere and no-strings-attached love for a fellow being.

We have reached the point of being able to wallow in our own space, being sad and thinking as if people who are in a caring profession are fake, unreal and ultimately have a motive more than just care.

We have a society scared of being cared for. Scared of being taken advantage of because everyone seems to want something from them. We have become weary of good intentions because we cannot seem to let go of our bad experiences and move on.

If only we could look a little higher than the ground, filled with bad moments of our lives, perhaps the light still shines, and there is hope for a better time.

Lets not be decieved by a few bad experiences and deny good intentions to enter your life again. At the end of the day, you are scared because someone else now as interest in helping you put back the fantasy you seek for while you watch cartoons.

I'm sure we can make our inner desire of a better place real. Will you let go; when all around looks down, look up?

Like the nice and catchy slogan in Monster. Inc,

We scare, because we care.

At least, I care!

P.S: Thank you for your support. There are times I feel bad I that I haven't written for a while, and I feel bad that I know people quietly stream in to read, only to see that nothing is written yet again. My apologies, but June is a pretty crazy month with crazy stuff happening. I will still write, but I sincerely seek your forgiveness each time I disappoint you when you come and see nothing new.
